Chinosserie Needlepoint Pillow

The first in a set of three Oriental needlepoint pillows. Two miniature figures reside cheerfully among the secret branches of a tree tucked away in the shadows of the woods. They are hidden from the world among the leaves- which are large enough to camouflage their small torsos- and are prancing daintily in a fairy-like manner. A very soft pillow- the background is a faded gold, while the trees and figures are done in soft browns, greens, mauves and tans, giving it a unique color combination. A ball fringe of the same shade of gold frames this pillow. It is backed in a soft beige velvet. Measures 19" X 15".
