Cabbage Rose III Needlepoint Pillow

A beautiful collection of needlepoint pillows featuring the classic Cabbage Rose design made famous by the early Dutch painters and transferred to the English chintz fabrics. This 18"x18" needlepoint pillow has a the softer colors of mauve, peach, and rose which contrasts nicely against the green foliage and the neutral tan background. A small sprig of blue flowers are found in the corner. The tonal colors have been exquisitely selected to compliment and give definition to the leaves and the flower heads. Completed all in gros point stitches and finished with a combination natural cord and tasseled fringe.
